COST ACCOUNTING ANALYST
Description:
The Cost Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the execution of the process to validate the adequate impact of Inventory transactions. Maintenance of the standard cost. Registration of transactions and audit in the Oracle system related to the cost of sales. Determine the standard cost variations for the Company, Review and update the standard costs on a regular basis for the company. Attention SOX financial and compliance audits.
Responsibilities:
Standard Cost Update by part number (SKU).
Follow-up on reports of cyclical inventory counts by location.
Registration of policies in Oracle related to the cost of sales.
Monitoring and application of the month closing processes.
Determination and validation of the inventory reserve damaged or obsolete.
Follow-up with different areas for compliance with the Inventory processes.
Accurately process the Company's accounting information, through accounting records.
Provide support in specific tasks to the administration, such as monthly reports, metrics, etc.
Review and reconcile the Company's accounting records to ensure the accuracy of each month's balances.
Support in specific tasks towards Accounting systems such as Oracle, One Stream & Hyperion on a daily, weekly, monthly and month-end basis.
Attention to other areas for the achievement of the Company's results.
Assist external auditors during the audit process, providing information and analysis of accounting data.
Requirements:
Bachelor´s Degree in Public Accounting or related.
Fluent English (written & spoken).
2 years of experience in Cost Accounting.
1 year of experience in Audit.
Accounting / Cost Accounting Experience.
Solid knowledge in ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Advanced Excel.
